A Picture a Day...This is an idea I am coppying from a friend of mine, I am taking it one step further and using it as a creative writing hobby, hope yall enjoy... July 6th, 2007
updating July 5th, 2007 I am afraid to cook with these. I am sure they are yummy but I have never cooked with vinegar not to mention flavored vinegar. So if yall have any recipies that use herbed vinegar let me know. I could use them.
July 4th, 2007 Kaykay loved the fireworks. She thought they were so pretty. I love how big her eyes kept getting. She would even clap for the pretty ones. We had a very nice 4th and hope all of you did too!
July 3rd, 2007 Meet Mollie, she is Kaykay's puppy. She has a long way to go before I claim her. She has to be house broken and her clepto habit has to dissappear before I will claim her.
July 2nd, 2007 Heath being a smartass about dinner taking too long. LOL He is sooo funny. He said he guessed he would just eat dog food instead of starving to death. So.. I did what any sane reasonable female would do. I stopped cooking to go cut his hair and then washed up and finished cooking... They havent complained about dinner not cooking as fast as they wanted it to since lol!!

We are having to supplement Mikayla's diet with pediasure since she wont eat. Well she wont eat enough to get the nutrients she needs. So she gets 2 a day, I mix them half and half with her milkie. She likes the vanilla and orange but isnt to sure about the chocolate and strawberry flavors. It is really helping her though, she is starting to put weight on again finally. She is 20.9 pounds now, so she gets to turn around in the car finally, YEA!!!!
June 29th, 2007 This is still Kaykay's fave book to read at night. I read it to her in the NICU and she still loves it today.
June 28th, 2007 This is how I put both babies to sleep at the same time lol. I know I am not supposed to prop bottles but she just wants it in her mouth she isnt even eating it lol. This is her fave way to sleep, booty in the air.

June 26th, 2007 For constant rain this swimsuit is still geting to see a lot of wear. I dont dry it either I lay it like this. So when I saw it I was like hmm.. That could make a cool pic lol. It is so tiny!! I love it!! The guys hate it but I think its adorable!!!
June 25th, 2007 I love this picture. We have been working on the boat the past 2 weekends and finally got to take it out. It was beautiful. The boat still needs some work but it was worth getting it out for these pictures.
June 24th, 2007 This isnt a closet, its my bathroom. I dont dry any of my clothes except pajamas, because they last longer if you dont dry them. And I dont have the cash to buy clothes all the time so this is my way of preserving them. That and it keeps the fit nice, especially for my hubbies shirts. He is so broad that if his get dried they end up to short on him.

I LOVE LOVE LOVE this storage set. It is my fave gift Kaykay got, my dad asked me what she needed and I told him this and he ordered it. Kaykay loves it too, because she can pull up and grab the toys she wants and is so proud of herself. And it helps the den look organized even with all of the toys lol. I recommend one to everyone, even if your kids are bigger. Kaykay can use this into her teens and college years. She can put shoes and clothes and homework and even as a pantry in a dorm room. June 21st, 2007 This is one of 3 piggy banks that Kaykay has. She has a big fuzzy lamb for her pennies, and then this one for her silver change, and then a big pig in a ballerina skirt for her paper money. I will try and take a picture of the big one soon, it is pretty cute.

June 18th, 2007 Kaykay loves to come in here and play with her shelves. she can pull toys out of them now, and likes to empty them out and giggle at her toys lol. I am loving this part. I have had enough of the sleeping preemie/baby stages. I am loving getting to interact and play with her.

Well I think I added the "WOWness" it needed. I added sparkle to the water, and lava/smoke, and of course some greenery that a tropical island would have. It tasted AWESOME!! And everyone thought it looked great too. So I am happy I added to it and even happier it didnt have to add too much.

Okay I loved the cakes, she did the general idea of what I asked her to do.... however they are plain. No greenery, no volcano stuff, nothing, just the base. I mean I am way thankful but this girl needs some "wow factor" for her birthday cake you know? I think I can fix it though. So we will keep our fingers crossed I dont screw it up.

FINALLY!! I got an inhaler that works. Before they changed the propellant in the last inhalor I had (because it MIGHT be harmful to the ozone) I had a great one. Then they came out with that new one that was over double the price and half the medicine, then it didnt even work like you need one to work. But now I have this one which is wonderful!! I had it growing up too until they changed it and I am happy to say it was the same price but double the medicine of the crap one!! so YEAAAAA!!!

I had to gorilla glue the shelves back in on this. It wasnt made for being used as much as we have used it I guess lol. It works great now though. Kaykay almost fell through the top shelf before I fixed it lol. It wasnt very cool at all.

We went to the city today, and I went to Old Navy and got almost all of my Father's Day shopping done for all the dads. It is coming up so fast. The dads are excited about it being on Kaykay's birthday because the whole family will get to celebrate both of them.

This is one days worth of Kaykay dishes. I wish I could get her to eat more. She just has no want to eat enough to be a meal. She will taste and take like 3 bites, and then she is done. But they think that by September (her adjusted year) she will be more interested in eating, instead of drinking her meals.

I cleaned out my closet and organized it. I am quite proud of this it had gotten crazy. I have a lot of shoes. The other side of my closet has Heath's stuff and winter coats and sweaters.

I LOVE Old Navy pajames!! I think they are so cute!! Wow, she is getting so tall. She is growing so fast, I hope we get to turn her around in the car seat for her birthday. We are about 1.5 pounds off so far.

Heath bought me a swimming pool!! I am so excited!! Now if the rain will just stop so the water can get warm. It has rained almost every single day since he put it up. It should be summer hot soon though. We got Kaykay a floaty toy, but the water needs to warm up before she can get in it.

I love love love chinese food!! It is my fave food easily. My best friend used to hate it, but since I love it so much he has learned to like certain things so he can take me there whenever I am wanting it. How sweet is he?

Eric is stuck out on a rig, so me and Kaykay made him a card and took these pictures to send him. She has so much fun taking pictures. OMGosh!!! This was sooo funny. She was watching the Backyardigans and dancing when I noticed her. So I started dancing with her and taking pictures and she was laughing so hard at me and the show that she kept falling over!! I swear she is the silliest girl God has ever made!! So I love these super silly and super goofy pictures of her. We had just woken up and were still in the process of getting dressed for the day lol.

OMGoodness! We had the family reunion today with hubby's side of the family and Eric thought he would take Kaykay to play in the playground. Well the silly lil girl had the same serious look on her face the whole time!! She wouldnt even kinda smile at him lol. It was hilarious!!! And it was pretty cold in Kingfisher, we had to stop at wal-mart when we got there to get Kaykay a warmer outfit.

This is one of my favorite things in my house. I got this chess set in Mexico on one of our shopping trips. I get a lot of my house decorations there, especially my elephants and turtles, and unique wall hangings. It is so much fun to joo them down and just have a nice day shopping and laughing with the fam.

Tumbleweeds can be a pain, but I think this one makes for a pretty picture. I am really enjoying taking pictures of the land around my home town. It is reminding how pretty Oklahoma can be. Especially with all of the constant rain!
May 16th, 2007 Our biggest, funnest, and most relaxing past time...FISHING!! We love to fish. We try and go at least once a week. Some weeks we might go 3 or more times. Last time I went we caught 5 catfish!!! Mine was a 3 pounder. I need to start taking the camera out there so I can show yall my fish, we catch and release because we dont eat a lot of fish. Heath broke my rod last time we went to the river LOL It was hilarious. It was just a cheap rod and he didnt know they still made wood rods and it snapped LOL! So now I just use one of his. It is so nice to go out and fish and just be outside. The mosquitos are bad but bug spray keeps them at bay for the most part. Kaykay really enjoys being outside also. Hmm.. I think I am going fishing now LOL!

We joke and say Oklahoma's National Tree is a derrick but it pretty much is lol. But you know I have started to see them as part of Oklahoma and they can actually make a nice picture. (Especially when you see your hubby's paycheck everytime you see one LOL!) I love the look of this picture though. I love how red our dirt is. The older I get, the prouder I am to be from Oklahoma.

My family and I have taken family vacations together for as long as I have been alive. Well, once we got older and started loving to shop we started planning trips around Mexico so we could cross the border and shop. So now I have tons and tons of cool/unique decor from there. These are not really new toys, they have been in her closet since Christmas in there boxes, however Kaykay is just now big enough to play with them. So today was like Christmas all over again for her lol. She had a blast!
Awe, she loves her some of her Heath. This is my bestest friend of all times. We have been friends for, gosh, 12 years? A long time. I am so happy he is still in my life after so many years. Its also handy that him and hubby are great friends lol.

Just a few of my cookbooks. The crosses are actually drying there, they got broke and I had to glue them back together. This is in my laundry room. It comes in quite handy since I dont dry many of my clothes, or Kaykays. I wish we would get the house finished, I am sick of looking at unfinished rooms.

I am taking this for my mom for Mother's Day. Kaykay has on one of my dresses I wore when I was a baby. I also used my camera software to make the photo "antique" to make it look more like me in it. She is going to love it, lol she will prolly even cry lol. Good tears of course.

My sweet girl. She is growing up so fast. I can see everyday the lil girl becoming more and more pronounced in her. She is learning new gestures like shaking her head no and more words everyday. She even says no (in regards to eating), or hi, mmmm (when something is really tasty), and many more that just sound like words but are not perfectly clear yet.

Miss Independent! This is Kaykay and her blanket, she doesnt like help with her bottle anymore unless she is very sleepy. She also wants to feed herself, and hold stuff all by herself, and dont get her started talkin LOL. The blankie I have posted about before, it is the only thing she WILL NOT share with Baxbax. I love the middle one where she is looking at me like "what? you have never seen a baby eat before?" LoL she is such a silly girl.

Usually they nap at the same time, however today they took turns. Kaykay is getting so big, I can see the lil girl she is turning into more and more everyday. She is so flippen close to crawlin she could do it if she was patient lol. Braxton (bestfriends baby) loves the mobile we have on Kaykay's playpen.

This is by far the funnest thing she thinks she has ever done. She absolutely loves the water! Not crazy about the life jacket but she will wear it if it lets her stay in the pool longer. This is Kaykay's new car seat. She was in a bigger seat already however it had the bar that went across her lap and she didnt like it, so it is in the other car now for when we just need it. She thinks this is so cool, I cant wait till she is big enough to turn around and have a whole new world open up to her!

I usually do my pictures small however I wanted yall to be able to read this one. My papa wrote this, its what he wants all of his grandkids and great grandkids to know. So I made it into a wall hanging so I can always remember. He is 86 and will be 87 in June and he still gets down and plays with the kids in the floor lol. I want to be old like them.

Awe... my tattoos. I love them and want more, end of story. What yall want more? Okay... The top one is my constant reminder to look up when I want to look down.. It is my reminder to pray and that its okay because God wont let me fall..atleast not too hard lol (sometimes we need to fall, a little). Here is a little more about my tattoo and the history behind the Ichthus I have on my toetoe (well not the exact one but... LOL). Ichthus (ΙΧΘΥΣ, Greek for fish) is an acronym, which is a word formed from the initial letters of the several words in the name. It compiles to "Jesus Christ God's Son is Saviour" or "Jesus Christ God's Son Saviour", in ancient Greek "Ἰησοῦς Χριστüς, Θεοῦ Υἱüς, ΣωτÞρ"
Now my other tat is going to lose some of its luster after all of that lol, but it is one of my paintings I did. The painting itself was done with a deep texture of plaster that made the actual image burst out of the canvas. Well I had it put on my back because I love everything about it, the fire--the ice, the hidden face--reminding me to look past and see everything, the stars, the cross--another constant reminder and I just think it makes a really pretty tat lol. Oh and when we moved to where we are now it got lost and this is the only version I have now. The original painting was on a background of deep dark blues, purples, sky blues, with a swirl texture on it as well. It captured you. Atleast it did me lol. Okay really I have rambled on too much on this one lol. <3 <3 <3

I love to throw on the wheel and create pottery with slabs. These are just a couple I have done, the top is a prayer box and the bottome one glows quite pretty when a candle is in it. I really enjoy natural forms and shape instead of straight and cylndric styles. I have a ton that just need to be finished with glaze. Well I am sick today so thats all Ive got for ya lol. <3

These are our girls! Lillie on the left and Aggie on the right. Aggie is Lillies momma. This is their first day back to being inside dogs since we brought Mikayla home. And they are quite happy, however not as happy as Mikayla who thinks she just won the lottery LOL. She calls them and they are pretty much bored with her (she isn't mobile yet, except for rolling). She just wants to play with them and talk to them, man are they going to be in for it when she can get to them. So they had a fresh bath and grooming done by hubby and are ready to lounge and be lazy....until Kaykay turns mobile LOL...
Aggie is my special girl. When we brought Mikayla home that same week we moved, and 2 weeks later the girls got out and Aggie got hit by a car. They were able to save her however she lost her leg. It wasnt an option to put her down though, she is just 3. So we had the surgeries (2), babied her till she was healthy, and she doesnt even act like she is missing it. She is even faster then her daughter Lillie lol. They are such sweeties, and very happy to be back inside lol.
April 15th, 2007 I love daisies, so Heath bought me some daisies the other day and I took the center picture for today but then started playing with all the different things I could do then pasted them altogether in paint and then resized and what not and this is what I ended up with. I think it looks cool and it was entertaining lol. Daisies mean happiness incase anyone wanted to know lol. <3 <3 <3

This is a usual morning at our house when Dad is home. Mikayla loves watching the Backyardigans! We are going to have a "Backyard"igan party for her first birthday. She has started to "dance" when they sing by kicking those lil legs and just laughing and smiling. She likes Uniqua the best and then I think Tosha is her second favorite. I wish the TV picture would have came out better but it didnt lol so this is what yall get. We Tivo the episodes so she can watch them whenever she wants to, or when Mommy needs her to...like when I am cooking lol.
April 12th, 2007 I love pictures, these are of my family, I need to get some of my niece and nephew in there too. As well as my brothers. I also keep a list of food I like to cook on my fridge so on the days where I have no idea what to make for supper I can just look over it and get some really good ideas. My fridge is also where you will find the bills to pay and the appointment dates for all of Kakay's stuff. And any wedding/borthday party/shower invitations we get. However the front of my fridge is clean and has nothing on it, only the side is my bulliten board. I think all over looks messy and I have enough mess without that adding to it lol. That and it gets knocked off easy on the front. What do yall think?
April 11th, 2007 Yes I know, I need to clean my closet. However when it comes down to planning my day, that always slips to the bottom of the to do list. That and my wonderful maids are pretty good at surprising me and organizing my shoes occassionally (sp?) or just cleaning it all. That and I get motivated about once a month to clean all the closets in the house, it just hasn't happened this month, YET! lol

This is Mikayla's bathroom. I am still working on it (like everything else in this house lol). The first picture is almost finished (fine detail left) and then the rest is what I have yet to do. I used spray insulation to make the vines, and I am stamping the leaves on. I think it will look really cute when I am done. I want to put a chocolate brown shower curtain in this bathroom. I think it will tie into the "old wold travel" type of feel the rest of the house has (except for Kaykay's room lol). I am also going to put new faucets in this bathroom to match what I have put in the other bathrooms (they are antique looking faucets). I will get it all done eventually. I just need a free weekend, we have the Easter egg hunt this weekend because it was so cold last weekend.

I love these signs. My mom bought them for me and I finally have a great room to display them in. I love to cook and my laundry room is so open and bright with the windows I think the signs look great in there on the painted wood. I think I am going to try and grow an herb garden by these windows this summer. Hmm... then again the plant DHS wont let me touch anything that has chlorophyl LOL!! My thumb is so not green is RED!

I went muddin yesterday and this was the end result! LoL I think i look like an Oompa Loompa, but it was worth it. That is sooo much fun. I LOVE LOVE LOVE it! Dang though Oklahoma has some red dirt lol. I thought my skin was going to stay this color forever lol.

This was taken at G-pa's house. She was talking non-stop and was not very happy at us for laying her on the floor to change her diaper lol. She is saying "Dada" now, and wants to say love you...I want her to say momma lol. She is also almost crawling!! I cant believe how fast she is growing.

My sweet baby
This is how my sweet baby usually has her first bottle of the day. She usually isnt quite ready to be awake but her tummy says she should be. I hope she always wants to cuddle like this. She is such a Mommy's girl, I LOVE IT!! Also just to let you know I hate the blue bottle, however its what comes in the pack with the pink ones... Oh I could also tell yall about the blanket in this picture. This is my second "feel better" blanket. I had one growing up and wore it out so my sister gave me hers about the time I was going to college and as you can see it is getting fairly worn looking too. I love it though. It is the kind of fabric that always feels cold, so when you are sick or just feel crummy the cool feels really good on your face. Kaykay loves it when I share it with her, which is all the time!! Well, I guess thats about it for this picture. <3 <3 <3

My Mom got this for Kaykay. She also got her a green one. I think they are pretty, and Kaykay seems to like them. They match her room. I am not really sure where to put them. They would look best in the windows but I keep heer curtains closed for the most part. Hmm..not really much goin on in my head today to write about.

LILLIE!!! This is one of our "puppies". They are so sweet. I like having them around, its handy when I am home alone or when we are asleep. They dont like it when they dont know someone. But if they do know you the love you lol. They spent the whole winter in front of the fire place on their dog bed. They are a Mommy and Daughter and are stuck together like glue... unless one of them is in trouble and then its each dog for its own LOL.

This is as close to made as my bed gets most days. I havent slept a night in this bed since... wow since June 15, 2006. The night before my ultrasound that sent us to the city. Im sure I will one of these days, but not anytime soon. Our house is big and my room is at the complete other end of Mikayla's room, so I sleep in the room right next to hers with a monitor going lol. Or on the couch in the den. I just dont feel I am at the point I can sleep that far from her. I am sure she would be fine, but I am such a light sleeper I can even here when she rolls over in bed...and I like that lol. By the time she goes to college I am sure I can handle sleeping away from her lol...I think... LOL

Though it may look and feel like spring is here...Winter is still trying to set the mood. I can not WAIT for everything to be beautiful and full and green. This is my Pecan Tree that is in my backyard. It is the most perfect shade tree when its in full season.

With the arrival of Spring also comes the arrival of Tornado Season... So I figured I would take a pic of our cellar to show yall. This is also the time of year you will find a pair of shoes, a packed diaper bag (with candles ans such) by my back door. Its better to be safe now that I have lil girl to think of. The month we came home from the NICU we had to go down into the cellar lol.. that was a busy month!
