Afrikan Heritage is an inspirational poem that demonstrates the strength and pride in Afrikan Heritage. I believe thay both the picture and poem shows that I am truly thankful for my ancestors and my roots in the Afrikan tradition. I believe that there are many of us that lost the Afrikan tradition or heritage. This picture and poem serves as a reminder for those have forgotten their heritage.
My Afrikan Heritage is filled with art, music, poetry and dance
to heal the mind, body and soul

cherished by colors and joy
nourished with the seasonings of Mother Africa’s words of wisdom.
