The Essence of Me
is filled with seasons of laughter
graced and dazzled by abundant blessings of love, joy, hope, harmony and unity
embracing the gifts of labor
constantly nourishing the soul with spiritual remedies and rhythms of Mother Africa
to heal and mend the mind, body and soul
rising high like the sun
upholding the seven principles of life
remembering the legacies of my ancestors
while adhering to my daily affirmations and goals
reflecting and looking within
teaching, reading, gliding, dancing, writing, and creating art to elevate society
into 360 degrees of power and unity.
