Nataki Suggs is a poet, author, wife and mother of two. Born and raised in the metropolitan Washington, DC area, Suggs began writing at a young age. By the age of eleven, she had already won first place in a poetry writing contest. When the prime of adolescence hit Suggs’ life, some experiences halted her knack for writing. However overcoming these same trials caused her to remember and rebirth her passion for writing.
