Bentley’s Azure and Continental GTC

Bentley Motors, the UK-based luxury car maker, has recently introduced two new luxury car models in the Indian market – Azure and Continental GTC. These two convertible models is priced at Rs 3.80 and 2.10 crore respectively.

The Azure is equipped with a V8 6.75 L twin-turbo charged engine that enables the vehicle to deliver a peak power of 450 bhp with an 875 Nm of torque. With such powerful engine, the vehicle can accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.9 seconds and with a top speed of 274 kmph. The vehicle measures 5410 mm in length and 2125 mm in width.

On the other hand, the Continental GTC is powered with a 6 L V12 cylinder twin turbo charged engine. It delivers a peak power of 552 bhp with a torque of 650 Nm at 1600 rpm. With such engine, the vehicle holds a top speed of 312 kmph. The car measures 4804 mm in length and 1919 mm in width.

The two cars will be manufactured at the company’s UK plant. It will then be imported as CBUs. Bentley’s India partner Exclusive Motors Pvt Ltd. will be the distributor of the cars.

Bentley is in goal to sell about 25 units of the cars annually in the Indian market. Since 2003, the company was able to sell more than 40 cars in the super-luxury segment. By the end of 2009, as part of the expansion, Bentley will be opening another showroom in Mumbai.
