Blair Hornstine Project 2Blair Hornstine has tackled leadership and fundraising challenges with exceptional success. Inspired by the words of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. who said, “We must learn to live together as brothers and sisters, or we will perish as fools”. Blair co-founded a service club at school and named it M.A.G.I.C. (Moorestown Alliance for Goodwill and Interest in the Community). As president, she has led the group in providing social support to the elderly, disabled, underprivileged and to school children of Camden – named the “most distressed” community in New Jersey and the second “most dangerous” city in America. Blair L Hornstine is one extraordinary student. As an inspiring young philanthropist, she was involved in creating the Moorestown Alliance for Goodwill and Interest in the Community (M.A.G.I.C.). This is a community service committee made up of South Jersey School students who help in their local towns by doing everything and anything, from collecting used prom dresses for less fortunate girls to organizing food drives for the homeless, to cleaning up neighborhood parks. 09:39 - Sunday, May 18, 2008 - post comment |
