Frontier Reviewed

Being a lover of automobiles, I have always made it a point to get to know new vehicles when they come out. That is if I can. So, sometimes, when I am not able to test drive a new vehicle, I turn to The Auto Channel, like just recently, when Carey Russ reviewed the new 2008 Nissan Frontier Crew Cab 4X4 LE Long Bed which I have yet to ride on.
Like most of you, I too am a fan of large vehicles although I want them to be really fuel efficient especially with the threat of global warming increasing. According to Russ, the Frontier looks definitely like a Nissan. "With styling cues in common with the other Nissan trucks and SUVs, particularly the full-size Titan pickup, there will be no doubt as to the Frontier's manufacturer," reported Russ.
He described the appearance of the Frontier writing: "A massive-looking chromed "angled strut" grille, flanked by bright rectangular headlights, dominates the front view. The lines of the struts continue upward to the hood bulge, while the bodywork directly beneath the grille blends back to the front fender flares."
And just like you, I want my car or pickup for that matter to be really safe. Russ reported this about the Frontier's safety: "Zone Body construction, with front and rear crumple zones and built-in passenger cabin protection, dual-stage front airbags, and four-wheel antilock vented disc brakes with dual-piston front and single-piston rear calipers are standard on the Frontier Crew Cab. Front seat-mounted side and ceiling-mounted full-length side curtain airbags are available." I think that is enough to protect me in the unfortunate event of an accident.
Russ' last words about the Frontier: "Nissan's little pickup has grown up, but in pickups bigger can be better."
