Monday, May 19, 2008 - Visit to Grand Cache
Hello again, all.
Update on what's happening: I got sick a couple weeks into work, which really sucked. But, it was worst right on this weekend, which kinda worked out. Today is my last day off on this weekend, but the cold is pretty much over.
Since it was a long weekend, all of us decided to visit my brother Donald's house for the weekend in Grand Cache. Grand Cache is a tiny town in northern Alberta, an 8 hour drive from Calgary. It reminds me of Digby, the main town near where I live in NS.
Not much happened this weekend. We did some shopping on Saturday, I got some clothes that I desperately needed. That night, we visited Donald's friend, Pat, and had a barbecue. Yesterday, me mostly hung around Donald's place, and drank with some visiting friends. Today, we drive back later in the day, it'll be a late night tonight. But I'm pretty sure that by tomorrow, I won't feel at all like I had a cold, which will be nice.
Anyway, I gotta go have a shower and pack up my stuff. I'll probably update in a week or two. Have a good one, all.
