Monday, August 25, 2008 - FanExpo and Ottawa
Hello all!
Well... this has been an interesting weekend. I got to Toronto ok, ended up losing my ring in the bathroom of the airport, had to pay an overweight bag fee, pay for storage for my baggage so I could sleep safely, pay for internet so I could meet up with my buddy (who I was an hour late for meeting due to me not knowing the layout of Toronto Airport), and overall had a pretty rough morning. However, once we got to hotel, the weekend went very nicely, though I spent WAY more money than I should have. Like.... way more.
The cosplay at this con was insane, I'll post pictures at a later date. I can't now for I left the cord to upload pictures (and the one to charge my camera) at the hotel in Toronto. Yes, it has been a rough weekend for losing stuff, lemme tell ya.
Now I'm in Ottawa hangin out with Chris, saw the Parliament buildings today, and helpin him do some moving over the next bit. Once I get back to Nova Scotia, it's time to pack like a madman and get back to school, where I'll be co-running a gaming club. Whew. This is gonna be quite the year, and then I possibly go to China, then move out to Alberta for my next degree (if all goes according to plan, that is... and I intend to make that happen! RAWR!)
Well, that's it for now, just thought I'd update on the latest happenings. I'll update again... at some point. Not sure when I'll have internet again for the next week.
