As much inspiration as I got at HBHW I was always trying to tweak the recipes so that they were healthier for my family. My husband is diabetic and I tend to lean vegetarian so this new site is wonderful! I've already been checking out the recipes and trying to see how soon I can make them. Yummy!

Thanks Maggie. This MN Mom really appreciates your time and effort.

i would like to say thank you for all the hard work you have done on HBHW, i have been going into your site for the last year and have saved so much money and time by using some of your ideas. Even though i'm in australia, the concepts are the same and i have managed to bring my food budget down to $120 a f/n(aussie dollars) and there are still ways to save. It will be a shame to see you move but from what i have seen of the new site i'll be on there all the time as well. I know the new owner will hopefully put as much effort into the site as what you have over the past few years and i wish the best to both of you.
thank you for all the ideas and have a merry christmas!!

I like it as much as your old one that helped me so much. Just wanted to take the time and let you know that this midwesterner loves what you have to say. Keep up the good work, Lady!

Take a cooked beef hot dog putting it into a hot bun and put sourkraut on top. Take melted nacho cheese and drip overtop of sourkraut. Then sprinkle coarse pepper on top. Add a little bit of sunny mustard. And you've got a Californian treat......
