Buddhist Temple

Today was another interesting experience.  Our team went to a Buddhist Temple to get a blessing for whatever they were blessing us for, i could'nt understand what they were saying.  We all sat down in this temple and there was a lot of chanting and fire and a Buddhist monk hit me on the head and shoulders with a noodle necklace or  something like that.  It  was definitely my first time being hit with a noodle necklace, i can tell you that right now.  It was an interesting ritual though.  I don't believe in buddhism but some people do and to everybody his own.   It was our last practice today before the regular season starts so tomorrow begins my new Japanese baseball experience.  Oh yeah, i almost forgot about the autograph seekers, after the ceremony, as soon as we walked out the door there were autograph seekers standing there waiting for autographs, i guess the Temple grounds don't deter any die hard fans.   I forgot my camera also, i had it sitting in my locker to take some pics of the temple and stuff but once again i got distracted, maybe next time.
