My first trip to the California DM V this morning and boy was I scared it was going to be a disaster. It actually went pretty well and the time I spent was only about an hour. What I did was registar my new truck, plates, drivers license. Of course I did not get any of that completed but I did manage to give them $821. and have a list of things to do untill my second trip there next Friday. I was actually cursing along pretty well when he checked my last state license and it stated I was not eligible for a license in another state till I satisfied something from back there. So on the phone I go....worried...thinking the worst ....and it just turns out to be my CDL medical was late....whew! You have no idea where my imagination went. Thank God I treated myself to a nice Chinese lunch.
