Attorney General resigns

2007 NFL season getting closer

As you know the 2007 NFL season is getting closer.  During the NFL season my You Tube reports will be the place for the latest NFL news and scores during the NFL season segments will be as follows

Monday: NFL recap Monday this is where I will give you the scores of the top five important games of the week

Tuesday: Monday night recap I will recap the Monday night game on ESPN

Wednesday: medical Wednesday the latest injury news from around the NFL

Thursday: a look ahead to the next weeks games

Friday on:http://nflnation.blogspot.com/ me and my friend JB will post our weekly picks

Saturday: I will do the picks for the week on you tube

Sunday: NFL countdown where I will preview the top five NFL games of the week.

Mainstream media: the problems

I am not a big fan of the mainstream media today, they seem to be providing you the news in a biased way instead of the way they are supposed to present it to you which is objective and fair, also they seem to disguise commentators as real journalists.  There is a major difference between these two journalists are supposed to cover the story fair and honest it is the commentators job to provide analysis and opinion, unfortunately today I think that that line in journalism is skewed in today's society.

JeMarcus Russell and Brady Quinn still holding out

I am sure that you have heard that JeMarcus Russell and Brady Quinn are still holding out from their team's training camps.  I believe that their chances of having a successful NFL career decrease everyday they hold out from training camp I believe that it is important for a rookie quarterback in the NFL to be in training camp as soon as possible, because they are making a big transition from college to the NFL.  I strongly urge both quarterbacks to get into camp now.

Worst statement that I have ever heard

What a dog means to Vick might be a lot different than what he means to you or I. Hold on, don't start shaking your head just yet. Listen to me.

Some people kiss their dogs on the mouth. Some people let their dogs eat from their plate. Some people dress their dogs in suits more expensive than mine, if you can believe that.

And some people enjoy proving they have the biggest, toughest dog on the street. You're probably not going to believe this, but I bet Vick loves the dogs that were the biggest and the baddest. Maybe, he identified with them in some way.

You can still choose to condemn him, but I'm trying to take you inside his mind so you can understand where he might be coming from.

What ESPN can do to make itself better

There are several things that I think ESPN can do to make itself better here is a list of things that would make it better

.  Do another SportsCenter show at four o'clock on ESPN2 and make Mike and Mike the cohosts

Bud Selig to appear at Barry Bonds game

Bud Selig has decided to appear at the San Francisco Giants game against the Milwaukee Brewers to follow Barry Bonds home run chase the media has been making it into a story.  Personally I do not see why anybody cares who is at any of the games.  I do not even care if Hank Aaron is there, this is not a sports story so I do not understand why ESPN and Sports Illustrated are making such a big deal out of it.

Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick charged in dogfighting case

I am sure that you have heard that Atlanta Falcons quarterback Michael Vick has been indicted in the dogfighting investigation.  Now I do not know if he is guilty or not but if he is he needs to be punished by both the NFL and the law.  Dogfighting is one of the most cruel things you can do.

Recation to my World Series of poker Video

I am getting a lot of reaction to my world series of poker video, yes the World Series of poker is entertainment and it should be on TV but I do not think it should be on ESPN.  Now the reaction I am getting is saying that it belongs on ESPN, while I understand that the E in ESPN stands for entertainment you do not see many things about Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie on ESPN so why should the World Series of poker be on ESPN.  While I respect everybody's opinion.  I have to disagree with them, poker is not a sport and should not be on ESPN.  If ESPN wants to show something entertaining they should show women's softball or volleyball that's what I call entertaining.
