Learning Spanish is Easy

Learning Spanish need not be viewed as a difficult task, because it is not. You can always use the following methods:

Watch TV/ Videos in Spanish – Hearing the Spanish language spoken often will help you to absorb it, and will reinforce your level of your understanding of the language greatly. You can listen to news in Spanish, see Spanish movies without subtitles (so you can concentrate on the dialogues), and you can even watch cartoons. All these will help you learn the language faster and easier.

Study abroad – You can consider living in a Spanish-speaking region. It is very easy to learn Spanish if you are immersed in the language or are exposed to it constantly. Of course, the best way is to forget you know any other language, concentrating only on Spanish – only then you will be able to progress quickly. Conversation will make learning Spanish very easy.

Get a home tutor – If you learn better with constant guidance and at your own pace, try to hiring a home tutor. This could be rather expensive; however, it is very convenient and it makes learning Spanish easy because you always have someone who can correct and guide you and teach you properly.

How to Avail of Cheap Flights to Tenerife

02:59, Wednesday, June 13, 2007  ..  0 comments  ..  Link
WANT to have an exotic vacation at the Canary Islands off the coast of Africa? Then go to Tenerife, Spain. Well, it’s not exactly located in Spain. Tenerife is a Spanish territory located off the coast of Africa and the largest island in the world-renowned Canary archipelago. The archipelago is famous for its tourist getaways and being its largest island, Tenerife naturally boasts of all accommodations that you can think about.
Flight maps
But how to get there, you may ask. With Tenerife not being an independent country by itself and as a stand-alone island, where will you present your passport and related stuff? Worry no more since everyone lands at Tenerife North Airport and Aeropuerto Reina Sofia. Aeropuerto Reina Sofia is seventh largest airport in Spain. With that kind of data, you will note that Tenerife is pretty much accessible to anybody.
Since Tenerife, Spain is a tourist destination like other Spanish spots such as Mallorca, flights abound everyday all year round. Not only that, flights in Tenerife are relatively among the cheapest in the region since competiting airlines are scrambling to lure in passengers one after the other.
There are actually dozens of flights available depending on your point of origin – whether you are from Madrid or London to as far back as New York. There is even one carrier that is serving flights from Venezuela weekly. The rates of these flights also obviously vary from the point of origin but I personally assure you they are the cheapest one can offer. Compare for instance the fare between a British Airways and a Virgin Atlantic flight to Tenerife if both originate from New York. The British Airways flight only costs $901 while the Virgin Atlantic flight costs $1284.
Choosing a travel booking firm for your flight to Tenerife can also matter greatly, especially if you’re an American. Here in the US for example, you can easily book a flight online or by calling customer support to either two of the most reputable travel booking firms in the country – Expedia and Travelocity.
If you are based elsewhere, there are also smaller airlines that serve the Tenerife ir route although there may be a tendency that you’ll question the worthiness of their fleet crew. The 1977 Tenerife airport collision involving a KLM and a PanAm jetliner killing all 583 mostly Dutch tourists chillingly comes to mind.
The mostly smaller airlines serving the Tenerife air route are Air Berlin ferrying tourists from 14 German cities, Spain’s own Air Europa servicing 10 Spanish cities, Austrian Airlines, Binter Canarias, Condor, Eurofly, Finnair, Flyglobespan (a British carrier), First Choice Airways, Iberia, Jet2.com, LTE International Airways, LTU International, Luxair servicing the tourists from Luxembourg, Monarch Airlines, Neos, Niki, S7 Airlines for Russian tourists, Spanair, Sterling Airlines, Thomas Cook Airlines, Thomsonfly, TUIfly, Transaero and XL Airways.
Now, I’ll tell you the difference of the price range between a major airline and a smaller one serving the Tenerife, Spain route. A typical British Airways flight to Tenerife connecting from Madrid via Air Europa costs 1,589.30 pounds while a typical Iberia flight costs only 227 pounds. Pricing is of course dependent on the promotional offered either by the airline or your travel booking agency. Total flight time, including the connecting one, is 8 hours and 15 minutes.
