These days, I honestly don't know how people function in this crazy world we live in!

Turning on the local news at night or just watching some of the people at the mall can be scarey!
Everyone just does their own thing and is in their own little world it seems like.
No one really cares about anything anymore... and that's kind of sad to think about.

I feel like I'm on the outside looking in at the world wondering "Ok, What the fuck is going on here?". As crazy and as weird as that may sound, it's the best way I can put it into text.

Christmas bells are ringing.... Atleast in this house they are!

Wow! It's been the longest day ever it seems like!
I went in at 1. Got off at 10. We had our store meeting tonight... Our 'Getting Ready For The Holidays' meeting. In me and my co-workers minds, it just meant 'Get Ready To Put Up With Even More People's Shit' meeting. It went well though... Afterwards, My managers, my co-workers, and myself spent the next 3 hours decorating the entire store for Christmas. Putting up new signs, Re-doing the windows, etc. It actually wasn't all that bad.

Came home, Walked in and realized Lee had already started decorating for Christmas.
Unless you've been over here, You have no idea how crazy we decorate for Christmas every year! Lee spent the entire evening while I was at work, decorating the living room with Christmas decorations. It looks really good so far. I'll be sure to take pictures once everything is finished and post them for you all to see.
And to think, it's not even Thanksgiving yet? Crazy I know.

Spreading the joy of Christmas a bit early this year... Nothing wrong with that right?

Okay so I'm in dire need of some caffeine right now!
The thing is I rarely drink coffee at home... I usually just head to Aroma Underground and get it there if I'm out & about with friends. But seeing as how it's a bit chilly here this afternoon and I don't feel like leaving the house, I figure I'd bring my coffee maker Lee got me for Christmas and make a nice, hot pot of coffee... but can I find it? No. I put it up somewhere in the kitchen a few months back and have no clue as to where it is now... and that irritates the shit out of me!
All I want is a cup of coffee dammit!

I had a hard time sleeping last night. It's been like that alot lately for some reason?. I found myself tossing and turning all night and then finally dozing off somewhere around 5 a.m. this morning and then waking up at 10. Needless to say I'm dragging ass today!
I may try to sneak in a nap before heading into work later on this afternoon.

I'm re-obsessed with the "Rent" soundtrack again. Can't you tell?
I've listened to "La Vie Boheme" about 20 times already today. Good stuff!
I really need some new music to listen to... Everything that I've come accross lately though has sucked! That's today's music for ya though. Really bad rap songs have taken over the top 40 chart. I hate that!

I've been on cloud 9 since waking up this morning and have no idea why.
I've learned to not take this for granted though 'cause there will be always be something or someone to fuck it up for me.
Karen took me out to lunch today. I always enjoy her company. She & I talked mainly about the family and upcoming holiday events she & I are both looking forward to.
Mike & I had a pretty good (and lengthy) conversation last night. He's one of the few people I know that I can call and & talk to (besides my famiy) when I'm down in the dumps & he always has some words of encouragement on hand. Thanks Mike!

My store manager called me bright & early this morning wanting to know if I could come into work. Seeing as how I'm in need of the hours, I said yes.
I'm one of the few people that can honestly say I really do enjoy my job. It may not be the best job in the world but... it makes me happy. That's all that matters right?

And away we go!

First entry being typed outside of Livejournal.
Feels a bit weird but I've wanted a public journal for the longest time now and I've finally gotten around to making one. Another way my family & friends can keep up with me now... instead of having to call or stop by and visit.

I'm not big on having deep conversations with people face to face... instead I hop online & vent on my blog. It's my way of getting everything out without having to actually talk to anyone about it.
